The design project of a country house with an area of more than 300 square meters was developed for a large and very friendly family. The main task was to create a comfortable space, to some extent luxurious, where "elegantness" does not interfere with coziness. We have provided rooms for each family member, as well as common areas for rest and receiving guests. The classic and restrained design of the house was liked by our customers, adding to the ranks of successfully implemented design projects of the ZANKO studio.
Design features of the estate
Each room of a country house can be characterized as a large bright space, which is created according to the principle - simply, concisely and stylishly. There are no small rooms in the house. There are no pantries and dressing rooms. And why? All bedrooms are more than 20 square meters, which allows you to place large wardrobes, which have been forgotten in recent years in modern interior design, but have not lost their relevance in rooms with furniture ensembles.
The design of the interior of the house is developed in a fundamental classical style, where every touch is a thought-out, not a momentary decision of the designer. A minimal set of furniture is used to arrange the rooms, which impress with their large sizes.
The task of the interior designer of the ZANKO studio was to leave as much air as possible using the necessary furniture accessories. This task was implemented by us at the expense of a limited number of furnishings. We have also deliberately practically given up spotlights. They were replaced by smoked large chandeliers, which emphasize the peculiarity of the design of the house - the absence of small-scale objects.
In the spacious hall there is a wooden staircase designed by our designers. It has a minimum number of small elements, which emphasizes its grace and laconic interior design.
Individual selection of finishing materials
One of the indisputable decorations of this house is Brazilian marble with contrasting colors. It is used in the decoration of stairs, emphasizing its luxurious appearance against the background of stylish interior design.
In finishing the floor, we allowed ourselves some experiments. For example, in the frames, as in one of the bedrooms, against the background of a wooden floor with a calm color, the chipping around the perimeter is made of modules, and the main part is laid with a French herringbone. In another room, the reverse principle of floor covering is used: along the perimeter of the floor, the chipping is made of herringbone, and the main part of the floor is modules. In general, this project can be characterized as "understated geometric luxury".
