Concept
- Brilliant Classics is a unique diamond in the heart of the capital. Such associations are evoked by the design of a small and cozy Kyiv apartment. For our designers, it is a unique object that reveals the soul, reflecting the vision and individuality of its owner. After all, in its projects, the ZANKO design studio creates individual interiors that combine the style of the designer's vision with the signature of the client's character.
The total area of the apartment is 80 square meters. m. Its main drawback is its location: the window is on the west side of the building. At the same time, the view from the window blocks the new building, which also negatively affects the insolation of the premises. Therefore, one of the priority tasks was the development of the most bright interior design, which would make the rooms more cozy and spacious. This was achieved through several techniques:
minimal ceiling drops in order to keep the height of the rooms as much as possible and ensure that a large amount of daylight enters the rooms through the windows;
covering the floor with impact-resistant beautiful marble, the glossy surface of which visually increases the space;
using mirrors to visually increase the area of rooms and better lighting the interior.
The next task was the correct zoning of the apartment. We divided the space into three main parts:
- a spacious entrance area with an adjacent dressing room;
- a personal area near which there is a bathroom;
- a spacious common recreation area combined with a kitchen.
